It's sad but true...

It looks like the end of Buffy is upon us. Normally I would be quite sad at this news but I've recently gotten hooked on the show Angel, so even though Buffy may be ending I'll still have someplace to turn to for some demon butt kicking action. Also if you missed Tuesdays Buffy it was hilarious. I've posted a couple sound clips below for your enjoyment.

Eight Grammys Later

Even though I didn't watch the Grammys last weekend I was glad to hear that Norah Jones took home a total of eight that evening. If you haven't had a chance to hear her music yet go buy the disc. If you don't like it I'll even give you your money back.

Daredevil

Alright, I said I would post my thoughts on this a couple of days ago... sorry for the delay. Overall I thought the movie was pretty good. I thought both Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner did a good job. I think I could have lived without Collin Farrells over-acting though. I give it a C+, it wasn't as good as X-Men or Spiderman, but worth seeing... if for no other reason then to see the trailer for X-Men 2, and to support Jennifer.

I'll have a Coke, oh wait and a DVD too?!?

I went to see Daredevil tonight and while I was at the theater I saw something very interesting. A vending machine. This wasn't your typical vending device, instead of being able to get your favorite soft drink or sugar fix they were selling DVDs. I don't know about you, but I don't think I'll be buying any movies out of a vending machine any time in the near future. I've lost count how many times I've gone to get my favorite candy out of one of those things only to have it stuck in the machine... and my candy doesn't cost $19.99. Don't believe me? Check out this article... I'll try and post my thoughts on Daredevil later tonight.

Generals

This is the best game ever made... Okay I might be exaggerating a little bit but I'm not when I say that this is by far the best game I've played in a long time. If you're a fan of RTS games then I suggest you pick this one up. Now.

Command & Conquer: Generals

...After going to about 5 different stores I was finally able to get copy of Generals last night. I haven't played it too much, but so far I'm very impressed. The graphics are amazing. I've been playing too much Starcraft lately though, so I'll have to get my mind back into C&C mode.

Lovin' the IPod

I bought an IPod today, one of the 10GB models. I bought it from a coworker so I got a really good deal. So far I'm loving it... Like the Tivo, it's one of those things you wonder how you ever lived without.

As I'm sure all of you know, this Friday is my birthday... or something I like to call, Christmas in February. I especially like the week of my birthday because everyone always wants to take you out to lunch or dinner. This is where I'll be going today.... here on Thursday and then here on Friday night. Also... cold hard cash works for me too... just send it to my P.O. Box. =)

Confessions of a Boring Movie

I'll try and keep this brief. If you had been thinking about going to see this movie, don't. The previews make it look like a good movie, but believe me the only good/funny parts of the movie are in the previews. If you're wanting to go see a movie, see Adaptation. If you've already seen it go see it again.... You'll thank me for this later.

Adaptation

I went and saw the movie Adaptation a few days ago. What an excellent film. It was the most original thing I've seen in a long time. I'm not a huge fan of Nicolas Cage, but this movie almost made me one. He gives an excellent performance in this movie as the screenwriter Charlie Kaufman and his twin brother David. Look for this movie at the Oscars... if it isn't nominated then theres something wrong with the whole damn system.

I almost forgot, I'll be going later today to see Confessions of a Dangerous Mind. I'll post a mini-review later tonight.
