Sunday I'll be going to the Rocky Mountain Street Rod Nationals in Pueblo. It's always fun to run down there and see all the cars on display. Sure it's hot as hell, the food sucks, and I'll probably end up with a sun burn. It's still a lot of fun. =)
I picked my car up from the shop this morning. It ended up not costing me that much money... which was REALLY nice. It hasn't over-heated since I picked it up... let's hope whatever they did fixed it.
The new hard drive for my server came in last night. I reloaded the OS and loaded all of my data back on it... so far it's working great. I'm having a weird problem with VNC... other than that I'm smokin'...
I'm taking my car into the shop tomorrow to get it looked at... it keeps over heating. If it's not too much I'm going to have them just go ahead and fix it... if it is too much I'm going to try and find a new car. Which I've been wanting to do for awhile now anyway. I might do that tomorrow night.. so either way I should have a car to drive by the weekend. I hope.
I may be one step closer to doing this with PHP... I'll try and let you know more later today. If it works out.
This one was just too weird/fucked up not to post... If you ever walk in on me eating my toes will you please shoot me? Thanks.
I contacted my hosting provider and they said that they would add the Perl upgrade to the list. They also said that they had a couple of other upgrades to do before that... so who knows when it will get done. Does anyone know of a way to do this in PHP?
Crap... I was trying to install this on my site tonight and found out my webserver is running an older version of Perl. I've sent an email to my hosting provider to see if they could upgrade it... I wonder what they'll say...
I think I might be coming down with something.... I have a sore throat and a little bit of a fever. I probably wouldn't be in this situation if coworkers didn't come to work sick. Grrrr... Maybe I'll feel better tomorrow morning.
Hmm... maybe I should start to carry around one of those little fire extinguishers just in case... wouldn't want to end up like one of these people.
That's what I saw this morning... or at least one of them. The Dunlap broadsides were copies that were made of the original Declaration of Independence back in 1776. I was amazed at how good a condition it was in... I was expecting it to be in pieces and whatnot. You can read more about the history of it here. I can't say that it really inspired me or anything... but it was pretty cool to see it up close.
I'm supposed to leave in a little bit to go check out the Declaration of Independence. It's on tour and it's stopping by the library that I work at. It should be interesting to see something like that. I wonder if they'll let me hold it? =o)
Well the jury is still out on the ITrip... In my car, which is the main place where I wanted to use it I keep getting interference from something. Today I tried it in a co-workers car and it sounded great. I'm thinking my antenna that's coming into the back of my car stereo might be lose or something. If I could getting to work like it did today in my car it would be great... I guess I just need to play around with it some more...
