I really liked this movie. It was different, which is always good these days. Anytime I see a movie with even the slightest hint of originality I run to see it the first chance I get. Both Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson did an excellent job. If you want to see something a little different check it out... or I guess you could go see this piece of garbage. Your choice.
Well it hasn't been fun but the move is almost complete. I was having trouble getting the blog working with Jumpline...and their tech support was less then helpful. After about a week of that I got tired of dealing with them and switched to DreamHost. I wish I had picked them to begin with! If you're in the market for a new hosting provider do yourself a favor and stay away from Jumpline.
If you notice the site down over the next few days it isn't because the RIAA has gotten to me... it's because I'm changing hosting providers. The one I'm with now has been great. I've almost never had any trouble with them and they've always responded quickly when I have had problems. Why am I moving then? Well the main reason is because Jumpline is half the price and I get more space, bandwidth, etc. I'm going to start transferring the site over this weekend...hopefully all goes well.
Update: I'm having some trouble getting my blog to work on the new server. I have the database and all of the files moved over... it's a damn Perl module that's giving me all the trouble. Until I get it working on the new server I won't be posting here that much. Wish me luck.
So far the 'new direction' doesn't seem that different. Which is fine with me since I didn't think anything was wrong with the series to begin with. I do hope they can attract more viewers. I would hate to see the series get cancelled before it has time to mature. I really liked tonights episode. It had action, humor... and a scene towards the end involving T'Pol was....most enjoyable.
Get your Tivos warmed up... The season premiere of Enterprise comes on tonight! Woot! I'll post my thoughts on the episode later tonight. The show is supposed to be going in a 'new direction' this season... hopefully it's not a bad one.
Talk about a crappy day... Every year my Dad and I go to the Good Guys car show. It's usually pretty fun. Lots of cool cars, good 'healthy' food...fun times. On the way up there yesterday I got a flat tire. Not a real big deal... we hopped out, put on the spare and got back on the road. We got a later start that day then we would have liked so a lot of the cars were already gone... plus it was raining a little bit while we were there. We got a hot dog walked around for about an hour and decided to leave. We hoped in my car and guess what.... yep it wouldn't start. I guy who had some jumper cables got it started for us and we got home okay.
Luckily it was only a dead battery, which was the cheap fix. The tire also shouldn't cost that much. I guess I just should have stayed in bed yesterday.
Some good news for Buffy fans... it looks like we'll get to see her in action a couple more times.
